Dom Pilgrim, Sundown Specials' last remaining "fast" bowler (right) returns home with Sarah Bunting and baby Milo Michael Pilgrim.

Milo was born in the early hours of Monday morning, the first of July, at Queen Charlotte's in west London.

At the hospital, Sarah's labour lasted all of 26 minutes... although in retrospect the first contraction came during the World Cup Final, followed by a shopping trip to Brent Cross (a strong "pain" in John Lewis), and then all-round house cleaning and readying for the baby they thought was due in three weeks' time.

Let's hope Milo will bowl as fast.
