Euan Soutar went drinking on 30 November 2001 at the team's annual pre-Xmas drink in Soho - some four weeks before his partner was due to give birth.

Well, what a surprise he got when he staggered through the door at home that Friday night.

Kate Brown had gone into hospital. Euan rushed (in somewhat of a haze) down to the Whittington to be there and Kate gave birth at 2.55am on Saturday morning.
